International Peatland Seminar in Iquitos, Peru

The National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP) hosted the International Peatland Seminar in Iquitos, Peru to highlight the vital role of peatlands in climate regulation. The event brought together experts from Peru, Malaysia, Estonia, Finland, and Germany to exchange knowledge on carbon and nitrogen cycles in tropical and European wetland forests.

and European wetland forests. Practical demonstrations and discussions aimed to strengthen research collaboration and promote peatland conservation as a nature-based solution to climate change.
